SINGAPORE BUSINESS GROUP A BRIEF INTRODUCTION ON SINGAPORE BUSINESS GROUP HCMC CHAPTER |
The Singapore Business Group HCM City Chapter (SBG
HCMC) is a non-profit organization established on 9 August 1992 by a
small group of Singaporean doing business or working in Vietnam. Since
then, it has evolved from a social club with a membership of 30
individuals into a premier business group with membership strength of
more than 300 members and is growing.
Besides organizing monthly
social networking sessions amongst various business communities,
seminars on law and other business related topics, SBG also undertakes
charity projects to help the less fortunate in Vietnam. Since 2001, SBG
has set up an educational fund from proceeds of an annual charity golf
event to provide scholarship for the needy and deserving Higher
Secondary school and university students. To date, 1,300 such students
had benefited from this scholarship.â€
